A lifelong Episcopalian, Steve has always been a doer – spend time around him, and magically things happen! When something needs fixing, everyone looks for Steve. He always seems to have the right tool in his pocket to be used in the best and quickest way so that complex issues become simple and then vanish! During St. John’s recent building and renovation project, Steve served as the site superintendent, readily available to contractors and parishioners alike, such that some wondered if he also slept at church! Always ready to give expansive tours that contained detailed descriptions of what was going on, his good cheer and friendly demeanor made the long process of the project a lot more fun than it could have been. We are convinced that if anyone were to look up “can do” in a dictionary, they’d find a picture of Steve right there! And so, it is my pleasure to gift Steve Kenagy with the Ky Chen Employee Excellence “No Problem” award.
